For the past nine years, our team at the Cross Keys have been working to reinvent our country’s familiar favourites into delicious, contemporary pub-fare with the belief that innovation and nostalgia are not only creative counterparts, but taste really good.
Yes, at the Cross Keys we love beer, but we think its best served alongside the fresh, seasonal and local ingredients that provide the inspiration for our ever-evolving menu.
While we’re always keen to chat in-person, our chefs fancied an online platform to share their passion for food and showcase some of the imaginative & technical processes that make your Sunday roast, Christmas dinner, and ‘working’ lunch oh-so-appetizing. So for the first time in our kitchen’s history, we’ve decided to take off our aprons, sit down at the ol’ laptop and get blogging.
In the up-coming weeks, we’ll introduce you to the best of British produce, offer some handy trade secrets, and give you an insider-look into how we work — and what we’re cooking.
